Feminist Movement movements are those that advocate and fight tirelessly for the rights and freedoms of the women and girls. Feminist movements are also effective for fighting for rights of children in the societies. Women are very aggressive when it comes to fighting for their rights and those of children. The presence of inequalities between manners in which women were treated was evident in the societies. Child abuse was also a vise against which the feminist movement fought for .The women during these early stages in the movement faced several challenges. They did not have enough funds to aid in mobilization of most women in their societies. There was also a problem in the fact that women were mostly uneducated and obviously most were unaware of the rights they were denied all this time. The courage of the women to stand against social injustices that mainly affected them can never be ignored. The movements have been effective in ensuring equity and equality in the societies.

The main aim of the formation of feminist movements in the society is to make changes occur and these changes are key in changing the lives of the women. Real change is what these movements are for. Since women were not allowed equal chances in education, it was these movements that advocated for the girl child education. Women empowerment is also emphasized by these movements. Another key goal is allowing the women in any or every society to have or take control for their lives. This means that women can work independently and think for themselves. One among the most important goals was the equal opportunities for women as there are for men.
